The Homer Soil and Water Conservation
District provides a diverse group of programs centered around
responsible use of natural resources. Learn more about the specific
programs and services we provide through the Program links.
The District has partnered with many local organizations and
worked with state, federal and tribal groups. A sampling includes:
Cook Inlet Keeper, Alaska State Parks, Natural Resource Conservation
Service and the Ninilchik Native Association. The District works
collaboratively and helps to make essential connections between
local land users and organizations that work to conserve and
protect Alaska's extensive resources.
